Published and curated open source clinical ontologies, knowledgegraphs and datasets for classifying content and data in life sciences and healthcare.
About:
The OASIS ETMF Standard and its published ontology was created to create a structured, extensible and multilingual machine readable content classification model and ontology for clinical trial content and data. The OASIS ETMF Standard was a two year effort with support from multiple standards bodies, policy groups and research institutions and organizations such as the National Cancer Institute, HL7, Mayo Clinic, Stanford University, CareLex and many others. The OASIS ETMF Standard Model was published in 2016 by OASIS Open, followed by publication of the ontology by NCI EVS and the National Center for Bio Ontology (NCBO).
CareLex is honored to have had the opportunity of collaborating with the NCI EVS group to create and publish a lexical ontology and knowledgegraph map used to classify clinical trial documents and data.
CareLex provides the ontology and knowledgegraph schema resources below for free download as part of our mission as a non-profit.
CareLex is a suite of open-source clinical intelligence tools and resources designed to enhance decision making accuracy for health science teams, processes and applications. Our mission is to reduce clinical trial timelines through advanced AI tools and automation, yielding higher quality and better outcomes in the discovery of life-saving treatments.
